A short animated advert for Lapland UK for the honorary Elf hat. The advert was used on Lapland's social media channels. We were inspired by the set they had built and wanted to make the artwork represent it as closely as possible.
The art was designed in Procreate and was animated with a mix of frame-by-frame and After Effects for the shots without character animation. It was created in a fast turnaround of 2 weeks. As Christmas was soon approaching. You can see the storyboard here.
A second short animated advert for Lapland UK this time we focus on the invitation box. Again the advert was used on Lapland's social media channels. With the art style already established, we were able to complete this reel at the drop of Santa's hat. Much like the first reel created we were inspired by the set they have built and wanted to make the artwork represent it as closely as possible.
The art was designed in Procreate and was animated with a mix of frame-by-frame and After Effects.
